Mary S. Lardner passed away on Sept. 10, 2023, at her residence in New Windsor. She was 75 years old.

The daughter of John and Helen (Kastner) Foy, she was born on June 24, 1948, in New York City.

Mary was an assessor for the Town of Cornwall for many years and enjoyed the bulk of her retirement with her husband Tommy in Hilton Head, S.C.

She moved back to New York in 2003 and enjoyed the rest of her very active life on bowling leagues, pool leagues, Bingo, Casino and winery trips with friends and family.

But what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren which she adored and loved with all of her heart.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Dawn Marie Faulkner and her husband Pat of Newburgh; and Patricia McCormick and her husband Jay of Chester; siblings: John Foy of Glens Falls; Patrick Foy of Inwood; Edward Foy of East Maron; Thomas Foy of Long Beach; and Theresa O’Gara of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren: Casey and Samantha Craig, James, Kaitlyn and Devin McCormick and Samantha Faulkner; and by five great-grandchildren: Emily, Michael and McKenzie Abrams and Daxton and Everleigh Olenick.

In addition to her parents, Mary was also predeceased by her husband Thomas P. Lardner and sister Elizabeth Connor.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at St. Anastasia Church, 110 Route 17M., Harriman.

A burial of cremains will take place at a later date at St. Anastasia Cemetery.

Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
