Lori G. DeNisco passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at home in New Hampton. She was 58 years old.

The daughter of Lorraine Valastro Jados and Robert Jados, she was born on Nov. 13, 1962, in Goshen.

At the age of 16, Lori started working for Highland Telephone which then became Frontier Communications from which she retired. She was president of the Local IBEW 503 Frontier union. Lori then became a customer service representative for Crystal Run Health Care in Middletown.

Survivors include her loving husband Joseph R. DeNisco Sr. at home; her mother Lorraine Jados of Chester; her children: Joseph R. DeNisco Jr. and his wife Nicole of Slate Hill and Michelle DeNisco of Chester; her siblings: Robert Jados Jr, of Middletown, Maryann Humbert of Pennsylvania and Cynthia Goydich of Monroe, N.C.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and, most importantly, she was loving “GiGi” to her beloved grandchildren: Joseph R. DeNisco III and Anthony James DeNisco. She was predeceased by her sisters Donna and Debra Jados.

Visitation was held July 22 at Smith, Seaman, & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe. A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 23 at St. Columba Church, 27 High St., Chester. Interment followed at St. Columba Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to a Humane Society of one’s choice.
