Jeannette E. Rogers of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Woodcliff Lake, N.J. She was 79 years old.

The daughter of Helen (Kopchak) and Joseph Dimke, she was born on July 7, 1943, in Goshen.

Jeannette was a homemaker who dedicated her life to taking care of her home and family. She was a member of the Monroe Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary, and she was a former Sunday School teacher at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.

Left to cherish Jeannette’s memory are her husband Jim, at home in Monroe; her sons, James Rogers Jr. and his wife Nicole of Washingtonville and John Rogers of Goshen; and her grandchildren: Andrew, Timothy and his fiancée Anna, and Angela.

She is additionally survived by her brother Joseph Dimke and his wife Judith of Boca Raton, Fla.; and her two sisters-in-law: Marylou Garew, and Margaret Rogers, both of Monroe, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held May 1 at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated May 2 at the Church of St. Anastasia, 110 Route 17M, Harriman.

Interment followed at St. Anastasia Cemetery.
