Charles E. Lewis, age 83, of Goshen entered into rest on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Sapphire Nursing & Rehab @ Goshen of Goshen, N.Y.
Charles was born Oct. 12, 1942 in Goshen, N.Y. He is the son of the late Everett and Marion (Price) Lewis.
He was employed by Amscan, Chester, N.Y., as a packer.
He is survived by ; his siblings; three brothers, William T. Lewis of Maybrook, James R. Lewis of Walden, and Gilbert T. Lewis (Connie) of Middletown. Five sisters, Linda F. Lewis of South Carolina, Darlene A. Morris (Jerry), Dolores L. Lewis, Cheryl Lewis, all of Newburgh, Lucille K. Lewis, of West Virginia. He was predeceased by four sisters, Helen Clark, Bernice Lewis, Patricia Lewis and Muriel Boykin. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special companion Pauline Zadwydas.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, 12 noon at Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, N.Y.
