Florida. Jazz returns

| 18 May 2021 | 04:39

With what appears to be positive changes in a post-COVID world, the area’s jazz musicians are out and gigging.

This Saturday, May 22, the Skye Jazz Trio will be at Mattingly’s in Florida. The following week on May 29, Skye pops out into UpFront Exhibition Center in Port Jervis.

On May 29 and June 6, The Warwick Historical Society features Mike Jackson and Beyond Jazz for a couple of different events

The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival is also planning ahead. Fewer shows (to date), but already set with concerts outdoor with On The Lawn Series and The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center, both in Sugar Loaf, the Village of Warwick Concert Series and the Brewery at Orange County Hops in Walden.

Looking toward Greenwood Lake and Pine Island as possibilities along with several area restaurants.

The festival is seeking sponsors and volunteers to help for the upcoming season.
