‘We need common sense solutions’

‘We need common sense solutions’

As a former Main Street business owner, I feel for not just the owners of mom and pop shops but also small landlords who are trying their best to work things out with tenants who lost their job or cannot work due to the pandemic.

As the parent of two young kids who just went back to school, I wonder if they will be sent home again or if the district will receive a 20 percent budget cut.

As a homeowner and landlord, I wonder if property taxes will continue to go up year after year.

When I think about who is the right person to represent the 99th Assembly District, it needs to be someone who knows what it’s like to build a business from scratch, who knows what it’s like to be a public school teacher and someone who had to fight for everything they achieved in life.

    That person is Sarita Bhandarkar.

Sarita will ensure that we have a real legislative partner in Albany, someone who will bring back our fair share of funding to the 99th District and work to find common sense solutions to problems we face in the Hudson Valley.

On November 3rd, I will be voting for Sarita Bhandarkar.
