My wife and I joined the Chester Garden Age Club 20 years ago. The group met in the basement of Chester Library.
Everyone felt like extended family.
My daughter passed away on Mother’s Day 2020 and my wife Shirley, 10 weeks later.
Due to the Pandemic there were no meetings.
But there was not a week than went by that a member didn’t check up on me to see what they could do.
