Last night (Nov. 19) I called and congratulated Representative Sean Patrick Maloney on his re-election after the Associated Press called our Congressional race.
I much appreciate all the support you gave this campaign over the last twenty months. This has been an incredible journey, and I will forever be grateful for the confidence and trust placed in me to be the NY-18 GOP and Conservative nominee.
As the race was very close (we trail behind by about 11,000 votes - less than 3 percent), many have called on me to run again in 2022 and I am seriously considering it, but at the moment I need time to reflect with my family before making any final decisions.
Rest assured, I will continue to fight for the people of the Hudson Valley and will keep you fully apprised of my plans.
The battle to preserve our free-market capital economy continues.
We must remain vigilant against those on the far left who wish to take our country down the dark road towards socialism.
I will continue to be a voice for the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit of the American people.
We need no greater example than the news that we are mere weeks away from two effective vaccines for COVID-19.
Operation Warp Speed is a success. President Trump deserves a great amount of credit for the rapid development of the vaccine, a feat that only could be possible in a country and economy as free as ours.
As we celebrate this, I hope it energizes all of us to march forward to a safer and more prosperous future, never letting our guard down against those who wish to put limits on our liberty.
Forever grateful for your support,
