A message to the Green Meadows resident who threatened bus carrying children with autism

To the Editor:
Kudos to the Green Meadows condo resident who verbally threatened and tried to instigate a physical altercation with the bus driver of a school bus carrying children with Autism and other disabilities. Do you feel accomplished at making an already challenging day more difficult for these students?
These kids have a hard enough time just getting dressed in the morning, now they have to fear strangers attacking their driver. Why? Impatience at not being able to pass the bus fast enough for the guy to park his car but who had tons of time act belligerently?
Sir, your child may not have special needs, or may not have to ride a bus, but these kids do, so please have more tact if the bus delays you by the 10 to 15 seconds it takes for a child to sit and the driver to put the bus in gear. The uncivilized man even yelled that he was going to call the police on the bus driver! For what? Not accepting your invitation to get off the bus and physically fight you?
I hope no one is as grossly behaved around your child. People, curb your anger, impatience, negative words, and obscene gestures. Respect kids and the community.
