Terri Sherman joins Elant
Goshen Terri R. Sherman was recently appointed vice president and comptroller of the Elant, Inc., long-term care network. Prior to joining Elant, Sherman had owned and operated her own consulting firm, Aurora Consulting Services, Ltd. In this capacity, Sherman provided myriad services to build, strengthen and enhance the financial operations of senior health and housing organizations throughout the country. Her practice areas included business planning, budgeting, modeling and forecasting, revenue/product line management, expense reduction opportunities and management and board reports. Sherman also has provided strategic, operational and financial planning for long-term health care organizations, assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities and other senior housing and health organizations. She has managed feasibility studies, overseen performance improvement consultations and assisted in implementing system redesigns and other organizational changes for providers. Previously, Sherman worked in the financial field as an accountant and as an auditor in a medical center and major public accounting firms. Sherman is a certified public accountant and a candidate in the Master of Public Administration program at New York Medical College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting from Northeastern University. Sherman lives in Washingtonville with her husband and their daughter.
