Students inducted into National Honor Society

GOSHEN - Fifty-three students at Goshen High School were recently inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society. This year’s ceremony was dedicated to the memory of Hannah Crossley, a Goshen High School student who last her battle with cancer last April. “Hannah would have been inducted into the National Honor Society this year in what would have been her junior year of high school,” said co-advisor Judy Moran. National Honor Society Co-Presidents Ronald Iazzetti III and Rachel Jordan, Sara Laskoski and Elizabeth Martindale, co-secretaries, and Treasurer Andrew Arne each spoke to family and friends about scholarship, service, leadership and character. High School Principal Robert Litz and Assistant Principals John Piscitella and Patricia Lercara presented the juniors and seniors with their membership cards and pins. The 2008 Goshen Chapter National Honor Society Inductees were Margerie Cadet, Christine DiStasio, Joyce Kang, Ryan Kimiciek, Katherine Monahan, Jeffrey Pennings, Justin Rando, Joseph Russo, Rebecca Stewart, Matthew Vetere, Denise Bambinelli, Parth Baxi, Christina Berti, Caroline Bjorkman, Justina Bowen, William Brennan, Emily Brownell, Sarah Camposeo, Allison Cohen, Chelsea Collins, Jilliam Conjura, Matthew DellaVecchia, Kathryn DePalma, and Melissa Doura. Also induced were: Megan Eisenbacher, Thomas Flynn, Naomi Fogg, Nicole M.
