In honor of celebrating the 95th Anniversary of Girl Scouting, Girl Scouts from Sarah Wells Council boarded a bus to Washington, D.C., for the National Sing-a-Long. The event took place on June 9, on the Mall at the Washington Monument. There were over 150,000 Girl Scouts, members, family and friends at this event. Pictured in front of the Capitol during a tour are Samantha Ferretti, Christina Henderson, Erin Heiferman, Erica Davis, Erin McCarthy, Amanda Gelhaus, Kristen Bozzo, Karissa Dvorak and Karlie Forman - nine girls from Troop 175 - along with, Jessica Iazzetti and Heather Perry - Girl Scouts from other troops. Each Girl Scout attended with their mom, making this trip a mother-daughter event as well.
