John Trombino and Gerry Hluchan recently purchased the former Masonic Lodge #365 on Main Street in Goshen. They are principals of Gerard Associates Consulting Engineers, a mechanical and electrical consulting firm that is renovating the building into office space. Approximately 4,000 square feet of office space will be available for lease. The building was originally built in 1889 as the Goshen Music Hall, which served as an entertainment center for the community for many years. The Masonic Lodge purchased the building in 1926 and used it as its meeting place for more than 80 years. The building owners are interested in the history of the building and the role it has played in the Goshen community. Anyone who has photographs, artifacts, or knowledge of the building’s history should call Hluchan at 291-1272.
