I am extremely grateful to have served the Town of Goshen as a councilman for over 20 years. In this time, I have seen our community change and grow in many positive ways and now seek the position of town supervisor.

As supervisor, my administration will begin to work immediately on three issues that are critical to our long-term prosperity:

Comprehensive planning: Goshen has a storied history, charming downtown strong schools, and vibrant business community. We have much to be proud of, and I believe that with a strong comprehensive plan, we will be well-positioned for the future. I am committed to working with the citizens of Goshen to craft a plan that benefits our community and not the interests of outside entities. This planning process will help us come together to vision how to address strategic items such as maximizing the potential for the Salesian property, attracting more commercial activities in the village, and sustaining our rich agricultural resources.

Infrastructure improvement: Through growth, we have begun to stretch the systems that support our quality of life. We need to enhance existing water and sewer service in all of our water districts. Our zoning and approval processes must also continue to closely consider impacts on groundwater resources when reviewing building projects. Roads in Goshen must be maintained and improved to meet the new demands. I will address infrastructure issues through budgeting and planning processes to allocate the necessary resources. As supervisor, I will work with state and federal elected officials to secure funds to support infrastructure improvement projects in the town.

Taxation: Our town is supported by tax dollars. Thanks to these taxes, we are fortunate to have services such as an outstanding park system that offers excellent recreational opportunities, a dedicated police department that keeps us safe, and a hard-working highway department that keep our roads in excellent condition. We must look at our tax assessment rates and continue to make Goshen an affordable place to live. I recognize the pressures high taxes place on our families and will work to obtain other resources such as grants and investments in our town to increase the quality of life without relying on taxes.

Thank you for considering me for your vote for Goshen Town Supervisor. I will serve you with transparency, integrity and fairness. Please vote Row A on Nov. 5.
