Chester — Ernest Jackson, the Middle School Principal at Chester Academy, said he’s trying something different for the school’s annual Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day this year. The people and businesses that provide services will be coming to the school to provide their services free to all middle and high school teachers and staff. This is what he’s lined up so far: A professional golfer will give free golf lessons using the latest golf simulator in the gym from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Teachers and staff should bring their golf clubs to school. A masseuse will give messages in the teachers’ lounge from 8:3Q a.m. to 2 p.m. A manicurist will be in the teacher’s lounge from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The PTSA will make goodies available throughout the day. A Wii station will be set up in the auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. “We are working on other stuff also,” said Jackson. He thanked the teachers and staff “for all your good work.” The Chronicle wishes to thank the anonymous person who sent us this information.
