Shirley Ann Schmick of Unionville, a retired secretary for LP Transport in Chester and a retired worker from the American Silk Label of Unionville, entered into rest on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was 75.
She was a graduate of Minisink Valley High School.
The daughter of Phillip Schmick and Clara Langlitz Schmick, she was born on Aug. 29, 1945, in Middletown.
She is survived by her brother-in-law Louis Poloniak; sisters-in-law Shirley Schmick and Joyce Schmick; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by eight brothers and nine sisters.
As per her wishes, cremation will be held privately and a graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, at Unionville Cemetery, Jersey Ave., Unionville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the T.S. Purta Funeral Home.
