    Lori P. Fedor of Montgomery died peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family.

    Lori was an inspirational music teacher at Goshen High School from 1996 until her illness last fall. During her tenure she spent countless hours working with her students, passing along to them her love of music and passion for the arts. She enjoyed collaborating with her students, fellow teachers and the many parents and volunteers who made it possible to put together 16 exceptional high school spring musicals.

    Lori received her bachelor of arts from Coker College, S.C., and a masters in music education from Winthrop University, S.C. She loved spending time with her two young sons as well as her family. She enjoyed traveling, and she was an avid animal lover.

    Survivors include her husband, Joseph C. Fedor; sons Nathaniel and Caleb Fedor, at home; mother, Pamela Cunningham and her husband, Allan B. Cunningham of Walden; father, Paul Horaz of Montgomery; brother, Michael P. Horaz and his wife, Sue Lynn of Cornwall; sister, Kristy Horaz and her husband, Chad Wade of Newburgh; brother, Paul J. Horaz of Newburgh; step-brother, Jack Cunningham and his wife, Dina, of Fort Myers, Fla.; step-brother, Allan Cunningham and his wife, Tina, of Peoria, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

    Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, for family members.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lori Fedor scholarship care of Goshen High School or to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
