Lloyd H. Kurth of Maybrook entered into rest Wednesday, April 30, 2025. He was 90 years old.
Lloyd was born Dec. 25, 1934, in Wausau, Wisconsin. He was the son of Frederick and Rose (Lambrecht) Kurth.
He served in the Army from June 14, 1955, to June 12, 1959.
He was employed by Local 445 in Newburgh as a Teamster.
Lloyd was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and “owner,” was an enthusiastic fan and played for the N.Y. Rangers’ farm team and desperately cheered for the Mets and Jets.
He is survived by his daughters Donna Meaney and husband Tommy of Goshen, Rose Ann LaBruna and husband Mark of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., and Anna Miller and husband Gene of Maybrook; sons Lloyd Kurth and Susan of Wurtsboro, Eugene Kurth and wife Tracy of Otisville and Armand Kurth of Middletown; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Carmela Kurth and daughter Lisa Louise Kurth.
Visitation was held May 5 at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church St., Goshen.
The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life was held May 6 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen.
Burial followed in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
