Jose A. Negron

Jose A. Negron of the Bronx died on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, N.Y. He was 72.
Son of the late Graciano and Laura Lafontaine Negron, he was born on Dec. 6, 1940, in Utuado, Puerto Rico. He came to the United States in 1956.
He was married to Georgina (Charleman) Negron, who died in December 2012.
He was a building manager with Bloomfield Properties and a member of Immaculate Conception Church, both in the Bronx.
Survivors include his daughter, Laura Mangual of Florida, N.Y.; son, Adam Negron of Goshen; granddaughter, Morgan Mangual; and brothers and sisters, Graciano Negron, Francisco Negron, Abraham Negron, Celia Diaz, Carmen Rodriguez, and Elba Iris Rivera, all of Puerto Rico. He was predeceased by his son, Fernando Negron; a sister, Sotera Negron; and a brother, Fernando Negron.
No visitation will be held. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, at Immaculate Conception Church, 389 E. 150 St., Bronx, N.Y.
