Janet L. Boo, a lifelong resident of Chester, passed on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021. She was 82 years old.
Janet was past president of the Walton Engine and Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary.
She was the widow of Arthur T. Boo Jr. who predeceased her in 1993.
Survivors include her daughter Cheryl Tate and her husband Paul of Greenville; her son Keith Boo of Hollow Springs, N.C.; her grandchildren Ashlee Kowalczik and her husband Chad, Robert Tate and his wife Diane, Melissa Boo and Matthew Boo; her great-grandchild Lydia Kowalczik; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Arthur, Janet was also predeceased by her grandson Stephen Boo.
A Memorial Service was held Dec. 4 at Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 3 Hudson St., Chester.
Interment followed at Chester Community Cemetery, Chester (Hill Section).
