Charles “Charlie” Stanley Ogden Jr. passed away peacefully yet unexpectedly at his home in New Hampton, N.Y., on Sept. 28, 2025. He was born on Jan. 20, 1967, and was 58 years old.
Charlie was a man of hard work, quiet strength, and simple honesty. A lifelong mechanic and skilled handyman, he could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed help. When he wasn’t working with his hands, Charlie enjoyed the peace of the outdoors and spent much of his spare time hunting — something that brought him comfort throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Ogden, whom he loved deeply. Charlie is survived by his three daughters, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts: Christina Awai, Brandi Ogden and her daughter Layla, and Isabella Ogden.
In keeping with Charlie’s personal wishes, we will be holding a small and private farewell gathering in his honor.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S. Church St., Goshen, N.Y.
