Lauren Svensson and Adam Dempsky wed
Carl and Judy Svensson of Hamptonburgh are overjoyed to announce the marriage of their daughter, Lauren Linne, to Adam John Dempsky, son of John and Rena Dempsky of Plano, Texas.
The wedding took place on May 19, 2012, at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was attended by 75 friends and family, including former members of the award-winning Goshen Science Olympiad Team.
Laurens bridesmaids included long-time friends and Goshen alumni, Erin Wendell Cannizzaro, and Katelin Maloney.
The reception was held at the Palm Foyer overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and the party continued late into the night at the Eyecandy Lounge. A honeymoon will follow this September in Maui, Hawaii.
The bride is a graduate of Goshen High School and Boston College, and the groom graduated from Plano East High School and the University of Oklahoma.
Lauren and Adam both work at video game company Electronic Arts (EA) in northern California, where she is a senior publicist and he works in sports marketing.
The couple lives in San Francisco.
