State Senators Jen Metzger (SD-42) and James Skoufis (SD-39) will host an informational forum for Orange County small businesses on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Goshen Public Library & Historical Society. The forum will focus on state and local services and assistance programs for small businesses. The forum will feature local and regional business leaders as panelists, including representatives from the New York Small Business Development Center, National Federation of Independent Business and the Orange County Chamber of Commerce.

The forum is open to business owners, managers and employees. Attendees are asked to register at bit.ly/Nov19Forum.

“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy in Orange County, and our forum presents a strong opportunity to connect owners and their employees with valuable tools and information that can help them grow and thrive.” Metzger said in the press release announcing the forum.

"I look forward to hearing from Orange County's small business owners and pledge to continue to bring their important voices to Albany," Skoufis added. "It’s important to understand the unique obstacles that they face and what we can do better legislatively to empower these businesses to flourish."
