Celeste Fatima Chann passed away Friday, Aug, 16, 2019, in her home in Chester. She was 91 years old.
The daughter of Louis and Maria da Rosa, she was born on Jan. 28, 1928, in Macao, China.
Survivors include her sons Jose Baptista and his wife Arlette of Chester and Beltrao Baptista and his wife Lisa of Wilton, Conn; her grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Andrea and Stephanie; her great grandchild Olivia; and her brother Francisco da Rosa.
Visitation was held Aug. 22 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was held at St. Anastasia Church in Harriman on Aug. 23.
Interment followed at St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.
