Join placemaking tour of the Village of Chester

The Orange County Citizens Foundation is holding a placemaking tour of the Village of Chester from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Learn from community leaders and government officials about the successes and challenges in making great places. Get some actionable placemaking tips to implement wherever you live and work.

The program includes pre-tour presentations, a light breakfast, a guided walking tour, and a wrap-up discussion.

The tour begins and ends at the Rustic Wheelhouse, 39 Main St., Chester. It will be led by Lou Marquet of the Leyland Alliance and Stu Turner of NPV Associates.

There is no charge for the program, and the public is encouraged to join the tour. A list of attractions and restaurants will be provided after the program for anyone who would like to further explore the area.
