“We are thrilled to recognize and honor these exceptional 2017 recipients, especially during the 10yh anniversary year of the arts council,” said Dawn Ansbro, the council's executive director. “These honorees are at the top of their respective fields and quietly living right here in Orange County. We are excited to be able to introduce them to the greater Orange County community and we look forward to a wonderful evening of celebration at the November gala.”
The gala will showcase the honored artists with individually curated videos that will be shown throughout the awards presentation and dinner. Other highlights include a signature drink, raffle prizes, and an art exhibit. Proceeds will support the Orange County Arts Council.
The awards are in part funded by Guidecraft, Orange County Trust, Orange and Rockland, Jacobowitz and Gubits, Crystal Run Healthcare and Orange Regional Medical Center.
The Orange County Arts Council’s mission is to champion the arts, connect artists with audiences, and foster the growth of the county's creative resources.
