Scott J. Finnerty of Chester died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at Garnet Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 42 years old.
Scott was born Feb. 5, 1978, in Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen.
He was a construction laborer for the local union. He loved to go hunting, camping and meeting new people.
He is survived by his son Scotty Finnerty, his mother Ruth Finnerty, his sister Terry Finnerty and his brothers T.J. , Tracy and Ed Finnerty, along with three nieces and three nephews, as well as two step-children.
Visitation and services were held Sept. 6 at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen.
Burial was in Chester Cemetery on Sept. 7.
