Maureen Ann Jones of Warwick passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 64 years old.
She was born in New York City on March 17, 1955, to the Francis and Margaret (Kelly) Butler.
Maureen was a freelance graphic artist who enjoyed creating art with landscapes, animals and especially the sea; as she loved the beach and being near the ocean.
She had also worked as a teacher’s aide at Chester Elementary School.
Maureen is survived by her devoted husband Michael; loving son Brendan; brothers Raymond Butler of Vernon, N.J., Joseph Butler of Costa Rica and Gary Butler of the State of Florida; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her brother, John Butler.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the funeral home.
