    Joan M. Trotter of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021. She was 94 years old.

    Born in New York City on May 22, 1927, she was the daughter of Jerome and Florence (nee McAvoy) Corrigan.

    Joan was a resident of Florida, N.Y., before moving to the State of Florida.

    She was the owner of Frontier Lanes Bowling Alley in Warwick. As a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary at St. Anthony Community Hospital, back when they were known as the “Gray Ladies,” she volunteered many hours.

    Joan is survived by her daughters Linda Brown and her husband Wilton of Jacksonville, Fla., and Paula McLoughlin and her husband Patrick of Goshen; grandchildren: Mark Gillette, Maeghan McLoughlin and Molly McLoughlin; great-grandchildren: Ethan Gillette, Alexa Gillette, Zoen Gillette and Sean Wallace. She was predeceased by her husband Sal Troup and sister Elizabeth O’Neill.

    A private graveside burial will be held in Warwick Cemetery per Joan’s wishes.
