Anthony J. Nardo of Highland Mills passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 87 years old.
The son of the Anthony and Jean Paseneli Nardo, he was born on March 18, 1934, in the Bronx.
Anthony proudly served his beloved country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge he became a banker for Citibank in Manhattan.
Survivors include his sons Christopher Nardo and his wife Sheila of New Windsor and Gregg Nardo and his wife Sharon of Pomona; and his two adoring grandchildren: Michael and Aidan. Anthony was predeceased by his loving wife, Jill Nardo, and his sister, Rose Nardo.
Visitation was held Nov. 4 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 515 Route 32, Highland Mills.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 5 at St. Patrick’s Church, 448 Route 32, Highland Mills.
Interment followed at Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
