Why are you running for trustee?

Public service is of great importance me. It has been my aim during my 33 years of living in Goshen to identify where there may be a need and put forth efforts to fill that need. The Village of Goshen is in a unique position. New buildings, new businesses, new people. Yet, costs are high, rents are high, and some folks are scraping by. My approach to serving is fueled by my belief in partnerships and collaboration. Hearing directly from our citizens and working to be their advocate is vital to being of service to those who have entrusted an elected official to office. I am running to be of service.

What are the top three things you aim to accomplish if elected?

- Open communication and civil dialogue with village residents.

- A deep-dive into village parking, sidewalks, and roadways.

- Helping village businesses through support and advocacy.

Why are you the best candidate for this position?

I grew up 5 miles outside of Goshen in Blooming Grove. Plenty of hours were spent in Goshen at Salesian Camp, the movie theatre, the racetrack, and watching the trains roll through. I grew up in the woods and Goshen seemed like a place of energy and vibrancy. It still does. I love this village!
