A Rough-legged Hawk takes flight from the very top branches of a tree along Glenwood Road in Warwick. These hawks hunt for mice and voles in the Black Dirt flatlands, the same food source consumed by the year-round Red-Tailed Hawks, American Kestrels, Northern Harriers and Short Eared Owls.
