‘This pandemic is not over’

On September 18, my husband and I went to Museum Village to see the show, “Golden Girls Gone Wild.”

Everyone was expected to show proof of COVID vaccination, and everyone was supposed to wear a mask during the performance.

My husband and I were pleased with this.

On September 19, my husband and I went to the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center to see LeeAnn Rimes.

No one checked to see if we were vaccinated and no one was required to wear a mask during the performance. Some of the ushers wore mask and some did not.

There were absolutely no precautions taken for the COVID virus.

Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center.

My husband and I are planning on going to the Downing Film Center in Newburgh. They will be reopening October 1.

Everyone has to show proof of vaccination and you have to wear a mask during the show. We will be going to the Downing Film Center.

This pandemic is not over. If everyone did their part to prevent the spread of this virus, we would be in a better place.
