An Angel’s Wing

Dedicated to doctors, nurses and EMT’s

    Come kneel beside me.

    Find shelter beneath my wing.

Rest your head on my shoulder.

    Let the world slip away.

    Take a moment,

    and just breathe.

    Scream, if you need.

    Cry, if you must.

    Give yourself this moment

    before you stand up,

    ready yourself once more

    to walk into battle

and fight to save their lives

    while risking your own.
