Administrators representing the Goshen School District, past and present, will be on hand to bestow one more honor, posthumously, to beloved  Goshen High School music teacher Paul Wright. Wright (pictured) headed up the music program for the district from 1959 to 1989. In addition to teaching music appreciation, music theory, and a host of choral ensembles, Wright directed the first 30 of Goshen's renowned spring musicals, with the first 16 years on stage at the C.J. Hooker building until the current high school opened in 1976. The public is invited to the unveiling of a plaque dedicating the auditorium of the C.J.Hooker Middle School Building at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12 (enter through front center doors and follow signs). Following the dedication, the CJH Players will be presenting Willy Wonka Jr., a musical theater adaptation of the popular movie. For tickets or further information, call the school at 615-6300.
