Fall jam sessions at Glenmere Brewing Co. pair live music with craft beer at weekly Sunday bluegrass sessions

Glenmere Brewing Co. will present a fall schedule of locally and regionally known bluegrass bands performing weekly at the Sunday Bluegrass Sessions.

The performances will be held at Glenmere Brewing Co., 55 Maple Ave. in Florida. Admission is free.

The fall music lineup includes mavericks in the local bluegrass world performing in a variety of styles that keep the popular musical genre of bluegrass from any easy pigeonhole. Featured artists pick banjos, strum mandolins and stroke fiddles revealing their soulful expressions based on regional influence. Whether listeners like bluegrass infused with a little honky tonk, mainstream country, southern rock, folk or they’re pure bluegrass fans, the weekly performances get the toes of all brewery visitors tapping.

Sept. 22: The Bunker Boys, 3 to 6 p.m.

Sept. 29: Uncommon Trio, 3 to 6 p.m.

Oct. 6: Hudson Valley Bluegrass Express|, 3 to 6 p.m.

Oct. 13: Moonshine Creek Bluegrass Band, 2 to 6 p.m.

Oct. 20: Uncommon Trio, 3 to 6 p.m.

Oct. 27: The Bunker Boys, 3 to 6 p.m.

Glenmere Brewing Co. produces craft beers made with local hops, malts, honey and even water and other ingredients that allow them to stay true to the style of each beer.
