Meet musicians and composers, and visual and new media artists, and poets at the free reception for "Music: A Visual Perspective." A musical performance will add to the beauty of the visual arts show. Join the celebration from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, at Orange Hall Gallery in Middletown. Enjoy music by the SUNY Orange Jazz Quintet (pictured): Darius Beckford, piano; Anthony Aprile, guitar; Marco Salazar, electric bass; Carl Eugene, saxophone; and Chuck Crover, drums. Artist-musician Steve Boyer will play tunes on his handmade cigarbox guitars and invite attendees to sing along. Craftsman Bob Yorburg will play his Gavioli-style, hand-painted, 28-key band organ. Orange Hall is located at the corner of Wawayanda and Grandview Avenues on the Middletown campus of SUNY Orange. For more information call 341-4891.
