The Cultural Affairs office at SUNY Orange invites you to participate in an exhibit titled American Voices Through Art and Poetry. The exhibit is open to works in the following media: paintings, drawings, photographs, collages, mixed media, digital graphics, fiber/fabric, sculptures and poetry.
The invitation offers the opportunity to artists and poets to express their thoughts about current times through the transformative aspect of visual art and poetry. The invitation is open to all residents of Orange, Sullivan, Ulster counties and all students, faculty and staff of SUNY Orange.
Artworks and poems will be included in an ongoing summer 2020 online exhibit. Only one original work per person is allowed. Every work must be titled and each artwork or poem must be attributed to the artist or poet with full name.
The submission deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 5.
A request for a prospective and/or questions should be emailed to cultural@sunyorange.edu with American Voices in the subject line. Cultural Affairs reserves the right to refuse works.
