Hudson Valley Jazz Festival

JAZZ. The tenth annual Hudson Valley Jazz Festival features more than 100 musicians in 22 shows over four days.

It's the 10th season of The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival. The schedule is Aug. 8-11 with music in 14 towns, 22 shows, four days and more than 100 musicians presenting at varied locations with the majority of performances free to the public.

It began Thursday, Aug. 8, in Sugar Loaf and Warwick and continues through Sunday.

A celebration of America's musical art form via the Valley's jazz artists and supporting venues. For Friday, Jeff Ciampa brings his group into The Winery and The HV Jazz Festival presents Neil Alexander and Nail.

Saturday and Sunday are filled with local favs and the park in Pine Island welcomes Latin Jazz.

Newly renovated church has a special closing night show Sunday at 7 p.m. with Tani Tabbal.

Cafes, parks, performing arts centers, galleries, restaurants , library, two wineries, dance school and an organic farm. From an 11 a.m. jazz brunch to a 10 p.m .late show. Vocalists, swing, fusion, original and standard jazz material.
