Holiday Parade of Lights to brighten Chester this Saturday

The Holiday Parade of Lights hosted by the Village of Chester Community Association will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. downtown on Main Street, continue through the village on Route 94 to Hudson Street (Cumberland Farms), then proceed around to the old high school on Maple Avenue. A community gathering will be held afterward at the Walton Fire House at 81 Main Street. Coming up: Chester's 26th annual holiday tree lighting, caroling, and open house, hosted by the Chester Historical Society, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the 1915 Erie Station museum at 19 Winkler Place.
