The Art Affair, an annual gala sponsored by the Orange County Arts Council, will take place Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. in its virtual speakeasy via Zoom.

This year, OCAC celebrates the accomplishments of three local residents who have made a difference to our cultural life here: Cooper Boone of Foundry 42+; E’Lissa Jones, musician, composer and music teacher at Warwick Valley High School; and David Church, former Orange County Planning Commissioner.

Cooper Boone is a singer/songwriter/clinical child psychologist/televised cook and owner of the award-winning lifestyle store Foundry42, located in Port Jervis.

David Church has been Orange County’s planning commissioner for nearly two decades.

And E’lissa Jones is a prolific musician, singer-songwriter, Warwick Valley High School orchestra director, music educator for nineteen years, and founder of Hudson Valley Ebony Strings.

In addition, the gala will feature performances by the Greater Newburgh Orchestra conducted by Russel Ger; swing music by The Lucky Five; and original music by E’lissa Jones.

Rounding out the event will be an auction with a variety of items and experiences sourced from Orange County retailers and artists. Items will be listed on OCAC’s website one week prior to the virtual event. There will also be a raffle.

Tickets will be available to purchase as an add-on through Eventbrite registration.

Raffle winners will be announced during the online event.
