Goshen. Harness Racing Museum Restoration Raffle to be held this month

The Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame will hold its 26th annual Restoration Raffle on Oct. 30. Started in 1995, the raffle has become the primary funding source for the preservation treatment of the museum’s collections.

The museum and its friends have built an award-winning program of collection care excellence and will continue to preserve the art and artifacts that celebrate the history of harness racing.

Raffle prizes include:

· A $5,000 gift certificate, courtesy of Bradford Portraits, to be photographed at the Bradford Portrait Studio in New York City and receive a 20” museum-quality portrait. Plus a second prize $3,000 gift certificate for a 14” museum-quality portrait.

· Two $100 gift certificates to Malone’s Restaurant, Lexington, Kentucky, courtesy of Kitefield Stable.

· A $100 gift certificate courtesy of USTA Pathway.

· Harness Racing Museum Golden Golf Putter courtesy of Jim Brooks.

· A $100 gift certificate to the Winner Circle Gift Shop courtesy of Ellen Harvey.

· A one-year-subscription to Hoof Beats Magazine courtesy of the USTA.

· A Harness Racing Walk of Fame brick, courtesy of the Harness Racing Museum.

· Harness Racing memorabilia – William Haughton driver colors courtesy of the Haughton Family.

· Harness Racing art prints by Jean Barrow and R.H. Palenske courtesy of the Harness Racing Museum.

Tickets are $10 each, three for $20, eight for $50 and twenty for $100.
