Bring the kids to the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, 240 Main St., Goshen on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 10:30 a.m.-noon for a fun-filled, old-fashioned Halloween celebration and a walk through the spooky stable.

Children ages 3-12 are invited to participate in creepy crafts, play hauntingly fun games and enjoy sweet treats. Decorate a pumpkin with a headless horseman, spider mummy, spooky horse head or ghostly monster pumpkin to frighten off those Halloween spirits. Make a bat-styled candy box filled with sweet treats.

Enjoy lots of other craft fun by making ghost windsocks, creepy spiders, a Halloween horseshoe beaded necklace, witch horse magnet and more. Play pumpkin bowling and bat toss. There will be skeleton toy horses while supplies last. The spooky Halloween adventure is topped off with a heart-pounding ride on our Harness Racing Simulator.

Children are encouraged to come in costumes. The first 40 children pay $10 and receive a pumpkin to decorate. Bring your own pumpkin, and we will provide the spooky pumpkin decorations. Parents are free. Reservations are not accepted. All supplies are limited.

Sweet treats are sponsored by ShopRite of Chester. Pumpkins are provided by Manza Farms of Montgomery.
