Food historian to give talk at 1841 Courthouse

Food historian Sarah Wassberg will discuss the history of cookbooks and cuisine at noon on Friday, Aug. 16, at the newly renovated 1841 Courthouse in Goshen, 101 Main Street.

Her talk, titled “Cooking by the Book: Celebrity Chefs, Cookbookery, and the Changing Landscape of American Cuisine,” concludes the Orange County Historian's Summer Speaker Series. Bring lunch or grab a snack at the farmers market across the street.
