Visitors to SUNY Orange’s 25th annual holiday open house at stately Morrison Hall on the weekends of Dec. 7-8 and 14-15 will be invited to enjoy “Holiday Enchantment with Children’s Stories,” courtesy of the award-winning decorative handiwork of the Middletown Garden Lovers.

In each room of Morrison Hall, located on the college’s Middletown campus, visitors will be treated to holiday scenes from their favorite children’s stories, including: “Twas the Night Before Christmas” (foyer), “Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland” (dining room), “Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone” (library), “Peter Pan” (Music Room) and “Ten Tiny Gingerbread Men” (salon).

The open house will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free. Volunteers will be on hand to offer information on the Garden Lovers and the college.

There will be holiday performances by the SUNY Orange Madrigal Singers, at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, and the Chamber Ensemble, at 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14.

The open house is jointly sponsored by the College, the SUNY Orange Foundation and the Garden Lovers. For more information, call Sharon Hood of the SUNY Orange Foundation at 845-341-4175.
