— Everyone had a blast when Branden Scire played DJ at the Chester ShopRite, during a July 1 event to support veterans.

Fifteen-year-old Branden, of DJ #harks, was also sponsoring Daves Tanks shirts, from David "Lionhart" Anthony of Newburgh. Anthony gives 50 percent of sales profits back to veterans' groups and also runs athletic programs. His motto is to "turn trauma into triumph" (davestanks.org).

DJ $harks' next big show will be a veterans' fundraiser WTBQ is putting on at a classic car/bike show to be held at the Warwick Drive In on Saturday, Sept. 8.
