Molly O'Donnell's shutter finger was not frozen when she snapped this gorgeous shot of the Goshen sulky, which dropped at the stroke of midnight on Jan. 1 to welcome the new year. They say the night's sub-zero temps produced the coldest start of a year since the Ice Age (although The Chronicle has not been able to independently verify this...). But Illuminate Goshen, which hosted the third annual sulky drop, was ready with outside heating units and consolidated the proceedings in one cozy tent. O'Donnell is the president of Illuminate Goshen.
