Goshen man arrested for narcotics possession

Frankie Velilla, 32 of Goshen, was arrested on Aug. 22 for two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of marijuana.

The arrest was made by the New York State Police Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team in conjunction with the Village of Goshen Police Department.

State police investigators made the arrest subsequent to the execution of a search warrant at his residence in the Village of Goshen. At the time of arrest, Velilla was found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Velilla was arraigned in the City of Middletown court and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
