The Shortline bus garage going up in Chester's industrial park is expected to be completed by February, according to Chester town supervisor Steve Neuhaus. The project had been delayed for years since it was first proposed in 2007. The expansive garage will check buses for necessary repairs, wash them down daily and is expected to bring 350 employees and tax revenue to town. It is the project of Coach USA, the Mahwah, N.J.-based company that transports millions of commuters to and from Manhattan, as well as to Woodbury Commons, Long Island and Binghamton.
