At the recent Chelsea Film Festival, Brock Mullins’ debut feature film “Return to Seattle” premiered on Sunday, October 21st. The film follows the story of a filmmaker named Robert (played by Mullins), who returns home to the Pacific Northwest from Los Angeles after his mother passes away and moves in with his father to help him deal with the emotional struggle that comes from losing a spouse of 53 years. Moderator Joanne Pickering and Mullins held a Q&A session after the screening.

“A few years ago, I was making short films in Los Angeles when unfortunately my mom passed away suddenly,” said Mullins. “I made the decision to move home to Seattle and live with my father. When it came time to make my first feature film, I decided I had to tell that story, while also showing the beauty of my hometown.”
